In honoring our hacker roots and challenging convention we build the technical foundation of Facebook. Facebook is looking to expand its existing team focused on remote site deployments. A technical project manager will have responsibility to coordinate and oversee deployment of our global offices during planning, design, construction and handover phases. A successful candidate will help develop and understand requirements from internal customers and create solutions to improve productivity and services. A candidate must have a technical as well as a project management background, be innovative and agile, collaborate well in a team environment, and have very strong written and verbal communication skills – a visionary who challenges the status quo and believes that collaboration technologies can level-up productivity.

Required Skills:

  1. Direct planning and execution of corporate office network build projects

  2. Work with global operations teams to identify and remedy issues with new sites while minimizing impact to employees on site

  3. Analyze problems and devise solutions to roadblocks and unique challenges across dozens of cities and countries

  4. Optimize processes in every way possible

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. B.S. in a technical discipline or equivalent experience

  2. 2+ years experience in Project or Program Management

  3. 2+ years experience integrating network systems into corporate offices

  4. 2+ years experience in construction project management

  5. Experience with Network Deployments and Circuit Provisioning

  6. Experience with campus and enterprise networks and hardware

  7. Experience with wireline telecommunications services such as point-to-point, IP transit, and PRI/ERI

  8. Ability to travel globally 25-40%
