The Small & Medium Business (SMB) team contributes directly to this mission by connecting every small business in the world with their customers on Facebook, and then helping them grow through solutions like Facebook Pages and Advertising. We succeed when we help our partners grow their business. Graduates joining our team will have an outstanding opportunity to build client relationships helping to scale sales with small businesses. Account Managers will leverage customer insights to help clients build their business using Facebook to drive success. The role of the account manager will be to establish, own and manage an expanding portfolio of clients, focusing on education, product adoption, optimizing client ad effectiveness/efficiencies as well as ultimately growing business. The ideal candidate will also have an appetite for identifying and executing on opportunities to scale solutions across other markets within APAC. Success in this position requires strong consultative analytical skills with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, team-focused environment delivering against tight deadlines. This position is based in Facebook’s APAC Headquarters in Singapore.

Required Skills:

  1. Provide pre and post-sales support to small and medium advertisers and agencies/partners for all online sales ad products

  2. Work directly with advertisers to improve performance of Facebook Pages and ad campaigns

  3. Grow revenue through proactive and reactive initiatives

  4. Create collateral to educate and inform advertisers

  5. Gather advertiser and partner feedback to enhance current and future ad products

  6. Identify trends to increase advertiser satisfaction with the support process

  7. Develop solutions to optimize team workflows and improve team efficiency

  8. Work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing and Product teams within Facebook

  9. Represent SMB Facebook at conferences, events or through webinars

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Pursuing or recently completed BA/BS or MA/MS or related degree

  2. No prior work experience required. Relevant internship or part-time work experience is a plus

  3. Interest in customer sales, account management or consulting is a plus

  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  5. Experience as a Facebook user and familiarity with Facebook’s ad products

  6. Strong problem solving and quantitative analytical skills, expertise in Microsoft Excel and/or SQL is a plus

  7. Strong critical thinking, analytical skills with an entrepreneurial and proactive mind-set

  8. Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage time, even under high- pressure situations

  9. Strong team working skills, ability to adapt to a fast-paced, international work environment with a passion for making an impact

  10. Fluency and excellent communication skills in English and Japanese

  11. Must be available to start employment any time between Jan 2019 and Oct 2019
