This role will be part of the APAC Marketing Science Team focused on the supporting our key agency and global client partners across Asia Pacific. The primary focus of the role will be to lead the media insights program for the Agency and Global Accounts team and produce detailed analysis across a wide range of topics on Facebook family of apps and services. These programs will span from key ad effectiveness research questions to industry, market, vertical, or measurement product strategies.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and critical thinking skills, be curious and interested in generating data-based insights. The right candidate will have an in-depth understanding of the advertising & media industry and be a master of advanced measurement & research techniques. They should have talent for taking complex concepts and distilling them into clear accessible formats. This role will challenge the candidate to not only provide strategic direction to advertisers on their measurement efforts, but also to develop strategic insights into marketing on the Facebook platform.
Lead the media insight practice for global clients and agencies in APAC
Develop best practices and processes around key analysis
Analyze key sets of ad effectiveness studies to summarize key learnings/findings for sharing out best practices and inform future strategies for businesses on Facebook.
Work with Facebook's global clients & agencies measurement partners to support their efforts in driving scaled impact through insights.
Engage in client conversations, presentations of results, and consult internally with the marketing science partner teams to understand brief and cascade learnings.
Partner closely with measurement partners to develop actionable learning agendas.
5-7+ years of relevant experience, media/marketing measurement or analytics experience and general love of data
Should have working experience in SQL
Understanding of online advertising and familiarity with branding and performance advertising and marketing frameworks, including ad effectiveness measurement techniques
Statistical analysis experience necessary, including but not limited to experimental design
Experience inspiring action based on data-driven insights including influencing advertiser planning and buying behavior
Track record of operating independently, demonstrating creativity, being detail-oriented, and delivering results in a highly organized manner
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate complex concepts to varying audiences
Bachelor's degree required. Advanced degree in psychology, statistics, economics, behavioral or social science or a related quantitative field preferred
