Facebook Sales Operations and Planning Manager in Seoul, South Korea

Facebook is seeking a high caliber individual to join the Sales Operations team with a day to day focus on Korea. This role will work cross functionally across multiple teams to drive strategic planning and operational improvements. The mission of the Global Sales Operations group is to maximize business performance by being the objective, trusted partner to the organization – through strategic planning, operational excellence and cross-functional collaboration. We also identify strategic initiatives to support revenue growth, as well as product development and activation.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about Facebook and has a proven record of driving strategic business decisions, be comfortable with ambiguity and working independent and has strong stakeholder management skills. This role will be responsible for establishing an operating rhythm and managing high impact strategic projects for Korea leadership team. This is a full-time position located in our APAC HQ office in Singapore.

Required Skills:

  1. Relationships: Develop strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders and partners across the company, including leading cross-functional task forces on major initiatives

  2. Strategic projects and initiatives: Translate global initiatives to regional level and help drive alignment. Develop projects at regional level that have potential to scale at a global level. Ability to push our business forward by completing strategic projects, aligning internal stakeholders and driving them to implementation

  3. Operating cadence / Rhythm of business: Rhythm of the business: Design and execute on standard cadence of operations (e.g., goal-setting, revenue review, key accounts reviews). Support Korea sales teams with planning and operational requests e.g. annual planning, business reviews. Lead the target setting process for the Sales Teams in the Region. Set appropriate KPIs and track performance. Drive operational excellence in the Korea sales organization through identification and execution of opportunity areas that create efficiency, remove obstacles, or create improved processes and approaches to the business

  4. Business insights: Perform market analysis or opportunity sizing. Drive impactful analyses on major revenue and product trends, including vertical/sub-vertical performance, product adoption, leading revenue indicators, productivity and sales effectiveness Identify key levers for driving revenue growth

  5. Business partnership and strategic planning: Lead recurring planning processes and partner with sales leaders on how to optimize resources to drive growth, including medium/long-term planning focused on market opportunity sizing, product focus, resourcing and org design

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Good command of English and a working knowledge of Korean language.

  2. MBA or Bachelor's degree preferably in computer science, engineering, finance, economics, business or related field

  3. 6+ years work experience with ideally a few years in a tech and consulting firm or investment banking or private equity firm or in a corporate development or strategy role

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience solving business problems (commercial, operational, organizational) and providing practical business insights from data.

  2. Ability to lead and influence stakeholders at all levels of an organization

  3. Strong aptitude for operations and attention to details

  4. Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and drive initiatives in a cross-functional environment

  5. Strong Excel skills. Working knowledge of SQL or tableau will be an advantage
