Summary:

Facebook is looking for the highest caliber executive leader to manage Facebook’s growth in Korea and to spearhead the company’s strategic relationships with global brands, agencies and partners for Facebook’s advertising platform. We are looking to identify an exceptional people leader with a proven track record of delivering success in a high performing organization. The candidate will have a deep understanding of the market opportunities and will create an inspiring vision to set objectives and run day to day operations. The role leads the strategy across a functional team including sales, marketing, measurement, and creative, and reports into the VP, Global Sales APAC. This role will be based in Seoul, Korea.

Required Skills:

  1. Define and drive Korea's strategy with short, medium, long term goals

  2. Develop and execute Facebook's strategy and operations to ensure growth and achievement of objectives across the country

  3. Represent Facebook externally across diverse range of strategic interests and matters

  4. Build long term strategic partnerships with communities, clients, agencies, government groups, industry groups and c-level leaders

  5. Collaborate with internal and regional teams to ensure product improvement, process efficiency, and transfer of knowledge

  6. Act as thought leader to grow Facebook's footprint in Korea for our community, partners, and advertisers

  7. Establish strategic, financial, and operating targets in alignment with company's long term strategic plan

  8. Proven record of working with government, industry bodies, and partners on strategic matters

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Previous general management experience and significant divisional leadership is required

  2. Reputation as a thought leader running large complex businesses and already highly regarded as a senior executive in the market

  3. Overall 15-20 years of senior leadership experience with a minimum of 12-15 years’ experience in leading regional or global consultative sales & marketing organizations

  4. Deep market experience in Korea is required and Asia Pacific preferred

  5. Influential at c level externally and comfortable influencing at executive levels internally

  6. Deep experience in developing a market for digital solutions and strategic partnerships

  7. Proven and consistent track record of executing against high growth targets and leading large-scale teams

  8. Proven experience managing multiple functions across diverse business areas at scale

  9. Previous experience successfully leading larger teams of 100 professionals or more, and comfortable leading experienced leadership teams, growing talent and developing organizational culture

  10. Passionate about diversity and its value to teams, culture, leadership, and business

  11. Intelligent, motivated, self-starter with strong interpersonal skills, work ethic, and analytical skills

  12. Fluency in English and Korean

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. University diploma or MBA in marketing or business-related subject preferred
