Facebook Checkout and Commerce owns, builds and maintains the software platform for the checkout experience across our suite of products. The platform provides the ability and support for buyers and sellers to transact and interact with each other. We also build tools and systems used by our internal stakeholders including Finance, Tax, Operations, etc.
As a Technical Program Manager on the team, you'll be responsible for defining and guiding high-level goals and roadmaps, monitoring and communicating progress, and defining functional requirements for new products and features. You'll partner with Engineering, Product and other cross-functional partners to prioritize work based on impact and drive execution.
This is a full-time position based in Seattle, WA.
Lead key initiatives and drive collaboration across multiple cross-functional teams including product, engineering, data, and operations to enable commerce experiences on our platform.
Provide hands-on program management during analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post implementation phases.
Develop and manage end-to-end project plans and ensure on-time delivery.
Drive internal process improvements, remove gaps, across multiple teams and ensure teams are working on high impact projects that align with company mission and goals.
Perform risk management and change management on projects.
Provide day-to-day coordination and quality assurance for projects and tasks.
B.S. in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
5+ years of technical program management, systems or software engineering experience.
Communication and interpersonal experience including relationship building and collaboration within cross-functional teams.
Organizational and coordination experience.
Analytical and problem-solving experience, and experience with large-scale systems.
Experience understanding product requirements and translating needs into plans.
Payments & Checkout and/or Commerce experience.
Experience leading projects with payment services providers.
International product launch experience.
