Facebook Technical Program Manager, Developer Ecosystem in Seattle, Washington

Summary:

As a Technical Program Manager, you will play a key role within the Facebook Developer Ecosystem leadership, collaborating closely with the Product and Engineering teams to build out the best-in-class developer experiences for developer facing products. Our team is seeking a person with a strong technical background, platform experience and great interest for the developer community. This is a full-time position based in Seattle, WA.

Required Skills:

  1. Lead initiatives and work closely with teams across the organization, including partnership teams around the world

  2. Tackle complex problems with a strategic mindset and create programs for solving those problems

  3. Maintain the team's focus on strategy and goal oriented results

  4. Proactively identify upcoming risks, issues, and bottlenecks and resolve cross-team issues

  5. Work with Data Science and Product Management to define and build metrics to track performance and identify areas of improvement for the programs in collaboration with key cross-functional team members

  6. Balance the business needs with technical constraints by building deep subject matter expertise for your area

  7. Proactively identify inefficiencies that are holding the team back, and drive better, more efficient workflows

  8. Assess business impact, prioritize initiatives and quickly react to a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 7+ years of tech industry experience including 5+ years of program management experience

  2. Communication experience and experience tailoring the message and detail to the audience, and use of multiple communication mediums to distribute information

  3. 7+ years of experience with hands-on involvement in solving technical problems

  4. Experience leading cross-organizational programs and experience setting and holding teams and individuals accountable to timelines and deliverables

  5. Analytical and problem solving experience including experience collecting data points across projects
