Summary:

As a Sound Designer at Oculus you'll be a pivotal part of creating immersive VR experiences. Your skill with sound design, foley, and implementation will raise and define the bar for VR sound. You will work closely with our different internal teams creating content for all of our products.

Required Skills:

  1. You are, first and foremost, a Sound Designer who has made and will continue to create iconic sounds.

  2. You are an expert with your tools of choice and possess both a keen aesthetic understanding of audio and a strong background in audio technology.

  3. Create world class audio content for Oculus first-party content.

  4. Contribute to the future of VR audio by working with and refining new technologies with our audio SDK team.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 5+ years experience in audio production for games, primarily foley and sound design

  2. Communication and interpersonal experience

  3. Experience working with commercial audio middleware such as Wwise and FMOD

  4. Experience working with Unreal, Unity and Perforce

  5. Experience mixing games

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. VR audio experience

  2. Mobile platform experience

  3. Nuendo/Nuage experience
