Facebook Product Manager, Oculus Browser in Seattle, Washington

Oculus Browser is one of the most used apps in VR and an integral part of our platform. Our mission is to make the web better in VR by enhancing existing 2D web content while enabling new immersive web-based VR experiences. In addition, we believe the web will be critical in driving VR adoption by enabling immersive content to reach a large audience across a wide range of devices while connecting users in VR with their non-VR friends.

As the Product Manager for Oculus Browser, you will work closely with design, engineering, and analytics teams to deliver a best-in-class user experience. In addition, you will work closely with both internal and external teams to ensure any app on our platform can easily access the web via the Oculus Browser. Finally, you will engage with the broader web community to help shape the emerging WebVR/WebXR standard, promote content creation, and foster the developer ecosystem.

Required Skills:

  1. Define and prioritize the feature roadmap by gathering qualitative and quantitative inputs.

  2. Deliver a best-in-class VR web browsing experience by working with designers, engineers, and analytics teams.

  3. Develop and promote new protocols for any app on the Oculus platform to easily access the web via Oculus Browser.

  4. Work with the web standards body to evolve WebXR, improve performance, and leverage new platform features.

  5. Establish shared vision across the company by building consensus on priorities leading to product execution.

  6. Drive impact in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 3+ years of product management or product design experience.

  2. Experience managing delivery of a consumer software product.

  3. Experience working with cross-functional teams to ship products.

  4. Organizational experience managing multiple ongoing initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience with VR/AR

  2. Consumer web or browser experience

  3. Familiarly with network architecture and/or computer graphics
