The Facebook platform offers advertisers unprecedented opportunities to reach and engage consumers across the globe. The same properties that make the Facebook platform an ideal place for marketing also make the platform an ideal place to conduct ad effectiveness and consumer research.
The Marketing Science Solutions & Partner Development team is responsible for understanding how to measure the value of marketers’ investments on Facebook. In service of this goal, the team conducts research on the Facebook advertising platform, designs methodologies and data systems to improve the ability to measure value on and off Facebook, and forms external partnerships with measurement companies, industry bodies, and other marketing platforms. We are looking for a Measurement Partnership Lead to direct these efforts and drive measurement strategy. This person will manage current partnerships and develop new partnerships when appropriate. He or she will work cross-functionally with other Facebook teams and the partner organizations to understand measurement needs, build new measurement products, and enhance current products. The Partnership Lead can expect to assess proposed capabilities, determine prioritization, draft legal agreements, test and validate the measurement products, and take the products to market. This person will work collaboratively with internal stakeholders such as Product, Product Marketing, Quantitative Research, Engineering, Marketing Sciences, Legal, and Business Development.
The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in and understanding of analytics, a deep understanding of brand safety and advertising agencies, and meaningful experience with partnerships or business development. This position is full-time and located in either Seattle, WA or New York, NY.
Understand measurement market dynamics, identify key partners, and build strategic products/partnerships that improve the measurement ecosystem
Serve as the primary point of contact for measurement partners
Develop a deep understanding of Facebook’s advertising measurement strategy
Work collaboratively with internal Facebook teams on issues related to measurement partnerships
Influence partners, industry bodies, and the ads/measurement ecosystem
5+ years of working experience in advertising or media, including 2+ years of experience in partnership roles and 2+ years of agency/media planning or buying experience
Knowledge in advertising measurement
Knowledge in the ad tech ecosystem
Experience thinking strategically, influence decision making, and bring ideas to market
Experience summarizing issues
A bachelor’s degree
