Summary:

The Business Integrity team ensures safe connections between users and businesses. We ensure our platform is a high quality ecosystem for users, developers, page admins, advertisers and businesses to create and promote digital content. The Internal Solutions team within Business Integrity is an applications engineering team focused on solving for tools development or back-end infrastructure problems. We partner with product and software engineering teams to build proprietary tools and techniques to enforce the quality of all promoted content at scale.

Required Skills:

  1. Manage a small to medium-sized team of technical individuals (with the majority of their time being devoted to tools development)

  2. Leverage technical skills to successfully drive infrastructure and tool improvements for new and existing processes and workflows

  3. Partner with cross-functional teams, such as Product and Engineering, to lead or contribute to large-scale strategic projects as well as solve ongoing operational problems at scale

  4. Lead the team by being a strong voice for them and aligning closely with cross-functional partners, driving towards the same business and company goals

  5. Be able to drive the team to impact and communicate it effectively

  6. Understand business needs, context and gaps and creatively come up with possible solutions to problems by leveraging tools/infrastructure knowledge

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in engineering or quantitative disciplines such as math, statistics, computer science, information systems

  2. 7+ years work experience including at least 2 years of direct people management experience

  3. Experience with object-oriented programming languages and system design

  4. Communication experience

  5. Strategic thinker with analytical and problem-solving experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Highly motivated and hard-working with ability to think clearly under pressure, both individually and in a team environment

  2. Ability to rapidly assess, analyze and resolve complicated issues, and distill that complexity into simple and concise communication
