Business Integrity's mission is to ensure safe and trusted connections between people, businesses, and Facebook. Our team works together to anticipate and predict potential threats to our platform, design and build tools to protect against these threats, and then implement and enforce these systems at scale. We leverage data analysis, machine learning and a robust infrastructure to review the quality of promoted content on our platform. We partner closely with several cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and data science, to ensure high quality and safe experiences for both people and businesses across the Facebook family of apps. We focus on Ads Integrity, Pages and Commerce verticals and ensure our platform is a high quality ecosystem for users, developers, page admins, advertisers and businesses to create and promote digital content. We are an analytics-driven operations team that thinks upstream to constantly implement solutions at scale through better automation strategies.

We are seeking a leader to manage our Business Integrity team’s policy operations. This person will operate as a key leader and stakeholder within the Business Integrity team and across Facebook’s key cross-functional partner ecosystem, responsible for driving Policy Operations efforts globally. Successful candidates for this team have a bias toward action and enjoy finding patterns amid chaos, making quick decisions, and aren't afraid of being wrong. This position is located in our New York, NY or Seattle, WA offices.

Required Skills:

  1. Improve policy operations by understanding global and local challenges and needs, build scalable solutions to address user and business pain-points and identify automation opportunities as we take down malicious actors at scale

  2. Develop strong cross-functional partnerships with key internal stakeholders like policy, legal, engineering, data science, product management and additional operational teams at Facebook in order to implement optimal solutions to policy related problems

  3. Responsible for a global team situated across multiple locations

  4. Inform, influence, and execute new strategies and tactics as we think about the future of our business

  5. Provide mentorship, guidance and career development to members of their team

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. BA/BS degree

  2. 13+ years of experience in quantitative or engineering disciplines

  3. 8+ years of direct people management experience

  4. Communication & project management experience

  5. Experience thinking both individually and in a team environment

  6. Experience assessing, analyzing, and resolving issues through communication

  7. Experience executing and procuring resources to remove roadblocks for the team

  8. Analytical experience, with experience understanding and driving nuances with malicious activity, policy needs, new types of products and other needs for the business
