Summary:

Facebook seeks a highly-motivated, detail-oriented team player to serve as eDiscovery Project Manager. The position will report to Facebook's Director of Electronic Discovery Services. As a trusted member of the team, you will build consensus across teams as you support global litigation, regulatory, and investigations for the company and its affiliates.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working on multiple complicated and often unrelated projects. You are a natural communicator who focuses on and conveys details to project owners and stakeholders to drive alignment and clarity, and to reduce surprises by proactively managing risks. You have great intellectual curiosity and a desire to invest time and energy into learning and growing as a subject matter expert. In addition, you have the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment and work proactively with teams across the organization, including legal, IT, security, policy, and communications.

Required Skills:

  1. Develop and coordinate end-to-end complex project plans on behalf of project owners, cross-functional partners, and stakeholders to create agendas, prioritize and communicate project requirements, track action items and milestones, and ensure on-time delivery of critical initiatives.

  2. Apply eDiscovery subject matter expertise to meaningfully contribute to strategic planning and road map development.

  3. Help develop scaleable policies, templates, processes and workflows to solve complex eDiscovery issues and increase operational efficiency.

  4. Drive accountability for ideas, deadlines and outcomes with the team and with stakeholders with little to no direct involvement from leadership.

  5. Adapt to different working styles to create successful collaborations.

  6. Rapidly identify, analyze and address complicated issues, and distill that complexity into simple and concise communication to influence outcomes in cross-functional settings.

  7. Assist with legal-vendor management and oversight, and legal-vendor diversity efforts.

  8. Analyze data to visualize metrics to drive process improvement strategies.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. BS/BA degree

  2. 6+ years of eDiscovery project management experience

  3. Experience coordinating with a variety of audiences, including legal, technical, and policy teams, and communicating across cross-functional partnerships

  1. Technology company experience

  2. Strategic thinker with analytical and problem-solving experience

  3. Well-developed organizational, communication and interpersonal skills

  4. Ability to think under pressure, both individually and in a team environment
