Summary:

We're looking for a Creative Producer to join Instagram's Editorial team, with a focus on developing original content for the company's official social media accounts on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. This role is responsible for creative production efforts on projects from conception to execution and evaluation.

The ideal candidate is highly creative, an experienced storyteller, organized, prioritizes attention to detail, thrives in a multi-tasking, deadline-driven environment, and must have a demonstrated ability of working with a global team to create daily editorial content across various platforms for an international audience. Additionally, this individual should have experience capturing content in the field, strong communication skills, and the ability to deliver and launch initiatives on time, on budget, and on strategy.

This position is full-time and based in Menlo Park, CA, New York City, NY or Los Angeles, CA.

Required Skills:

  1. Develop original content for a variety of a mediums

  2. Manage the entire creative production process, including ideation and creation of visual assets, overseeing timeline and budget, information sharing, and analysis

  3. Capture, edit, and produce video for use on social media channels

  4. Oversee external content capture teams, which includes providing clear and actionable creative direction, managing budgets and timelines, and ensuring deliverables meet Instagram's high standards of quality

  5. Manage cross-functional relationships and information sharing between teams

  6. Analyze data to inform creative decision-making with regards to individual creative and long-term strategy

  7. Manage project statements of work, estimates and related parameters

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Marketing or related discipline

  2. 4+ years of experience in a creative role with an emphasis on creating assets for social media

  3. Experience running projects with multiple stakeholders

  4. Experience managing external creative and production partners

  5. Experience building working relationships with core and cross-functional teams

  6. Demonstrated experience working in creative production for an international audience

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience managing a branded social media account

  2. Visual portfolio of published work

  3. Experience capturing content in the field

  4. Experience producing live video segments

  5. Agency or production house experience

  6. Experience working within a creative department for a publication that places priority on visual storytelling

  7. Able to work and thrive in a self-starter, fast-paced and changing environment
