The Global People Operations team strives to create and deliver a seamless and positive employee experience across the entire employee lifecycle. We deliver analysis that is useful and accurate to create People-related strategies across the business. We manage people knowledge and build project management capability across our company. Facebook is seeking a Project Manager to support the LATAM People Operations team with project management and operational implementation and support. The person in this new role will make an impact driving the implementation of process and system improvements of our LATAM operations while helping us to scale the operations infrastructure for our internal HR partners. The person in this role will partner closely with the people operations, people@, tools, and legal teams. This is a Short Term Assignment of 12 months.

Required Skills:

  1. Responsible for coordinating initiatives on LATAM People operations, process improvements and automation

  2. Partners with vendors on eSocial project management ensuring that requirements are mapped and needed changes are identified

  3. Manage LATAM People Operations specific projects, including project development, launch, execution, performance, control, and close

  4. Coordinates process documentation, identifying areas for improvement, automation and centralization within HR shared services

  5. Contributes to the People Services (HR Shared Services) organization by identifying opportunities for the centralization of activities, supporting with process documentation, training and overall transition of activities

  6. Provide feedback and make recommendations to management on process improvements, technology, training requirements, etc

  7. Ensures updates on processes and policies are being documented and managed effectively and quality is improved

  8. Manage and escalate system and processing issues with internal and external business partners

  9. Establish metrics for projects and ensure performance against metrics is tracked and measured

  10. Leverage best practices from industry in influencing and driving operational improvements

  11. Analyze trends and consolidate data/information to present for review with primary stakeholders and drive decisions based on analysis

  12. Proactively identify and communicate business issues

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 5+ years experience in project management, HRIS or HR Operations

  2. Excellent interpersonal relationship and partnership skills

  3. Ability to work cross functionally and hold people accountable for deliverables without a formal reporting structure

  4. Must demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills. Must have ability to effectively use analysis to drive recommendations

  5. Strong project management and process improvement background

  6. Excellent communication, cross-group collaboration, and interpersonal skills

  7. Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and lead multiple projects simultaneously involving various groups / locations / vendors

  8. Must have strong organization skills, detail oriented, conscientious, thorough and accurate

  9. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and dealing with ambiguity

  10. Advanced knowledge of Excel analysis / manipulation, including pivot tables, V-lookups, and chart creation

  11. Strong working knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, etc

  12. BA/BS degree required

  13. Experience with vendor management strongly desired

  14. Strategic thinker – must have experience in developing innovative workforce

  15. Management strategies

  16. Fluent English
