Summary:

Facebook is looking for a Corporate Communications Manager to lead proactive and reactive projects in Brazil. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in both corporate and product communications, crisis management, working with executives and will be able to balance handling a combination of breaking news, real time requests, strategic corporate projects and product announcements. The person will have a deep knowledge of the media landscape in Brazil, have strong media relations, and be able to combine strategy and flawless execution.This position is full-time and based in our São Paulo office.

Required Skills:

  1. Design, planning and execution of communication campaigns related to our brand, products and partnerships

  2. Educate press, bloggers and influencers about Facebook

  3. Drive general coverage and across consumer and tech media

  4. Support and manage the creation of communications programs, press materials and partner reference programs in the region

  5. Work cross-functionally with product, platform, policy, monetization and other international team members on individual media opportunities and broader programs

  6. Organize press briefings, media sessions, and events

  7. Prepare briefing materials and manage spokespeople as necessary

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

  2. 7+ years professional experience in communications or public relations, both agency and in-house

  3. Deep media relations

  4. Ability to work with and influence a range of stakeholders

  5. Strong project management and decision-making skills

  6. Expertise in managing PR agencies and contractors

  7. Experience working in Internet, Technology and Media industries
