We are currently seeking an Optoelectronic Device Process Integration Engineer focused on device design and process flow development. We are looking for candidates who have experience in semiconductor processes. The candidate will be responsible for working closely with internal and external partners. Ownership of device design, mask layout and overall fabrication process flow development for beyond state of the art III-V optoelectronic devices
Assist with recipe development for individual processes and identification & resolution of process integration issues
Assess impact of process flow and parameters on final device performance and drive experiments for continuous process improvements
Engage with vendors to identify and develop cutting edge tools and technology to support evolving program needs
Work with internal teams and external partners to deliver robust processes & devices that meet development roadmap targets
5+ years experience as a process development/integration engineer in a compound semiconductor fabrication
Hands-on experience with semiconductor processes (lithography, thin film deposition, annealing, etching, implantation, oxidation etc.) and metrology
Knowledge with epitaxy, process/device characterization, test and assembly, reliability and failure analysis
Experience working with cross-site & cross-functional teams
- Experience with VCSEL device processing
