Facebook is seeking a Sales Operations Associate to join the Creative Shop Sales Operations team. Creative Shop is a global team focused on advising clients on their creative strategies on Facebook, Instagram and all of the other parts of the Facebook platform. The mission of the Global Sales Operations group is to maximize business performance by being the objective, trusted partner to the Creative Shop organization – through strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration and operational excellence. We also identify and drive critical projects and strategic initiatives to support business growth. The ideal candidate will be passionate about Facebook, interested in advertising, intellectually curious, a fast learner, analytical, comfortable with ambiguity and working independently, able to focus on the details while thinking strategically, while remaining focused on high impact projects. This is a full-time position located in our New York office.
Partnerships: Develop strong collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders and partners across the company, including cross-functional task forces on initiatives, to ensure decisions are in line with the broader company’s organizational approach
Strategic Planning: Drive recurring planning processes. Partner with Creative Shop leaders and HRBP on how to optimize resources to drive growth, including medium/long-term planning focused on market opportunity sizing, product focus, resourcing and org design
Business Insights: Conduct impactful analyses on major revenue and product trends, including vertical/sub-vertical performance, product adoption, leading revenue indicators, productivity and team effectiveness
Rhythm of the business: Drive operational excellence through identification and execution of opportunity areas that create efficiency, remove obstacles, or create improved processes and approaches to the business
Automation and efficiency: Assist with the goal setting and KPI process. Develop standard processes and tools/dashboards that can be scaled centrally
BA/BS in an analytical field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business or related field)
2+ years of work experience in Sales Finance, Sales Analytics, Sales Operations, and/or Strategy consulting
Experience in problem solving and providing business insights and recommendations from data sets
Experience presenting technical content to audiences
Proven stakeholder management experience – including managing multiple partners simultaneously
MBA or graduate degree in an analytical field
Experience with SQL
Ability to work independently, manage multiple concurrent projects and drive initiatives in a cross-functional environment
Experience extracting data from large/complex databases
Experience in data visualizations and building scalable reporting tools
Knowledge of Salesforce and Tableau
