Recruiting is a core strategic driver of Facebook’s success. We have a world-class team working together to help drive our ambitions and scale to the next level. We are looking for a Candidate Channel Leader to run our centralized inbound and outbound candidate identification and sourcing activities for Global Recruiting.

This is a highly strategic and impactful role for our Recruiting org. It is a thought leadership opportunity for anyone wanting to disrupt and innovate. The Candidate Channel Leader will be responsible for the top of funnel candidate generation, programs and tools associated with those activities and influence the global sourcer community across Recruiting here at Facebook. They will help us scale processes, identify and embrace opportunities for efficiency and tools enhancements, and foster an environment of collaboration with a focus on the candidate experience. While this role will have a large team and direct reports in North America, this individual will also be responsible for driving appropriate consistency/customization globally.

Required Skills:

  1. Employee Referrals:

  2. Work with key recruiting and business representatives to improve and implement our Employee Referrals strategy and program

  3. Work collaboratively with internal engineering teams to ensure tools support for referral processes

  4. Improve employee satisfaction with referrals process

  5. Direct Sourcing:

  6. Establish and scale the Direct Sourcing team

  7. Work with the Team Lead to:

  8. Identify the strategy, goals, metrics to ensure key success criteria is clearly defined

  9. Establish scalable processes to deliver solutions at scale

  10. Improve and drive productivity of Recruiting by enabling better lead generation

  11. Help identify, measure and share best practices related to sourcing tactics across our network of Sourcers

  12. Explore methods to improve sourcing efficiency, such as:

  13. Data mining interview packets for keywords, org. information

  14. Leveraging APIs to improve dB accuracy and ‘data freshness’

  15. Conducting power searches utilizing tools

  16. Mapping current leadership bios to the external marketplace

  17. Leverage internal tools to improve Sourcers’ ability to discover candidates at the appropriate times for reconsideration and role matching

  18. Centralized Resume Review Team:

  19. Expand and scale process for reviewing incoming resumes (two team locations: Menlo Park and Chicago)

  20. Work with Team Lead to:

  21. Develop, manage, and implement continuing education to improve resume review team capabilities

  22. Report on team metrics/effectiveness

  23. Oversee resource balancing/allocation

  24. Ensure consistency, where relevant, and collaboration globally with our teams based in EMEA (Dublin) and APAC (Singapore)

  25. Ability to travel up to 20% of the time

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 15+ years of recruiting/recruiting management experience

  2. 10+ years people management experience

  3. 5+ years of project management experience

  4. 2+ years of strategic planning experience

  5. Experience using MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio or other process mapping software)

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree

  2. Analytical and problem-solving skills to plan strategy, tactics and perform root-cause analysis

  3. Ability to work across functions and at all levels of the organization to collaborate and help influence action

  4. Ability to leverage cross-team relationships to super-charge collaboration and complimentary work efforts

  5. 1+ years experience in a Sourcing Lead, Brand Lead, Events Lead, or Referrals Lead role

  6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
