We're looking for a Consumer Product Marketing Manager to join our product marketing team in New York. In this role, you will support our growing portfolio of products, including features like Explore and Search that help people connect with more of their interests on Instagram. You will be responsible for understanding consumers, introducing new features that excite them and driving consumer adoption. You will also act as a cross-functional leader with strong communication and project management skills. The ideal candidate will have a multi-disciplinary background—including business strategy, product marketing and analytical skills—and be passionate about Instagram.
This is a full-time position based in our New York City office.
Develop core positioning, key messages and international rollout strategy for Instagram's suite of products and features.
Help design the best product experience for consumers with engineering, product management and design teams.
Launch new Instagram features and highlight our narrative through press, public figures and the community.
Create consumer marketing programs that drive ongoing adoption and awareness for Instagram.
Deepen our understanding of demographic and international audiences.
Identify product needs and emerging trends in the mobile and social space.
5+ years of experience in product marketing and/or marketing, product management, or business experience.
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Creative, Social Sciences or other related discipline.
Experience with product launches (including mobile) and consumer campaigns.
Experience setting strategic direction and executing operational and go-to-market plans that require input and execution from multiple teams.
Experience driving and executing global projects.
Experience in technology, startups, or consumer mobile app space.
Experience working as a PMM on a technical product with algorithms/ranking.
Experience working with or in support of diverse communities.
