Summary:

Instagram is looking for a Consumer Product Marketer to support people who use Instagram for shopping. This person will be responsible for driving consumer adoption for shopping, including growth campaign development, execution, and measurement. The ideal candidate will come from the Retail or e-Commerce industry and have a multi-disciplinary background—including business strategy, product marketing and analytical skills —and be passionate about Instagram.

This is a full-time position based in our New York City office.

Required Skills:

  1. Partner with product marketing, product management and engineering to define the growth strategy and product roadmap for shopping

  2. Lead the consumer acquisition strategy and campaign execution for shopping

  3. Work closely with product and marketing analytics to develop and measure consumer growth KPIs and campaign success

  4. Work closely with brand and creative teams to execute targeted campaign deliverables

  5. Define the user journey for shopping and develop go-to-market initiatives to activate the user experience

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 8+ years of business strategy, product marketing or product management experience in the Retail or e-Commerce industry

  2. Experience creating consumer acquisition frameworks to evaluate problems and present a recommendation for how to proceed

  3. Experience setting strategic direction and executing operational and go-to-market plans that require input and execution from multiple teams

  4. Experience driving and executing global projects

  5. Experience building marketing programs to target custom audiences

  6. Communication experience and experience influencing a cross-functional team

  7. BA/BS degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience working in a consulting, product strategy or equivalent function for an online retail or technology company

  2. MBA

  3. Experience working with or in support of diverse communities
