Summary:

The goal of the Facebook Blueprint team is to educate businesses of all sizes how to leverage Facebook and Instagram to build and grow their businesses. The Blueprint team is entrepreneurial-minded and dedicated to delivering the ultimate learning experiences for partners across multiple channels. Our mission is to democratize scaled education for businesses big and small. Blueprint consists of 3 pillars: Blueprint eLearning (online courses & MOOC training), Blueprint Live (in-person training) and Blueprint Certification. This Global Partnerships lead will sit within the global Blueprint strategy team and will focus specifically on the distribution and amplification of Blueprint's brand and content. This role is based in Menlo Park or New York.

Required Skills:

  1. Content Distribution + Brand Awareness:

  2. Develop partnerships with academic institutions, global government agencies, resellers and non-profits to drive the adoption and distribution of Blueprint content - increasing access for currently underserved populations to help them become the next generation of businesses that leverage Facebook as an advertising platform.

  3. Serve as a brand ambassador for Blueprint within the academic, government, non-profit and reseller spheres, cultivating meaningful relationships that highlight Blueprint as the premier brand for Facebook education.

  4. Build a thorough feedback loop into all partnerships to nurture relationships and ensure quality of programs over time, regularly reviewing and evolving programs with stakeholder buy-in.

  5. Work closely with legal/sourcing teams on both sides of a partnership that includes but not limited to executing NDAs, creating & signing mutual MOUs.

  6. Understands the importance of an equally beneficial value exchange partnerships between partners.

  7. Content Strategy + Digital Skills Development:

  8. Set & own the strategy for the global academic, government markets, ensuring that Blueprint meets the training needs of these unique constituents and the voice of these learners are content adoption strategy, partnering with Blueprint & cross-functional teams to shape.

  9. Drive thought-leadership in Blueprint's emerging digital skills initiative, leveraging academic and government partnerships to ensure content moves beyond advertiser training and tackles broader issues of digital literacy.

  10. Prioritize, build and deliver strategies that drive the most impact and scale, and can be adapted across regions.

  11. Channel Ownership + Audience Visibility:

  12. Own the channel and champion academia/governments across the Blueprint team

  13. keep team members informed of what's happening within the community, what traffic academia/government partnerships drive to our brand, insights that drive the way we develop Blueprint curriculum, etc.

  14. Partner with Blueprint marketing & communication team to spotlight academic/government success that illustrates Blueprint impact to academia/government.

  15. Put processes in place to stay on top of academic/government and Blueprint intersections that could make for stronger plans and sound strategies.

  16. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  17. Partner with Blueprint's learning scientist to uncover advertiser insights and barriers to adoption of Blueprint among academia/government using quantitative and qualitative data (either existing or new).

  18. Identify intersections between the partnership strategy and broader Blueprint strategy, crafting innovative ways to contribute to top-of-funnel growth.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. BA/BS degree

  2. 8+ years of business/marketing experience

  3. Experience working with academic institutions, non-profits, resellers or government agencies

  4. Demonstrated experience thinking strategically and influencing internal and external stakeholders

  5. Experience setting and executing strategies at scale

  6. Experience working independently and cross-functionally to drive multiple high-priority projects

  7. Experience delivering large-scale and/or multiple projects concurrently including, but not limited to, scoping and prioritizing projects, building project plans, and identifying critical paths

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. You have empathy for the day-in-the-life of a global academic, non-profit, reseller, or government employee

  2. You are a listener and use this skill to listen to partner needs that help guide a comprehensive global partner strategy

  3. You have a passion for teaching, learning, and education in general

  4. Understands the global academic and government landscape, with contacts at key universities and within key government agencies that will help to drive impact in this role

  5. Experience negotiating content partnerships with academic institutions and/or governments
