Summary:

This role is part of the Recruiting Operations and Programs Team, and will be part of a small team that helps drive our global employment brand and engagement through events. This position is based out of our San Francisco or New York office.

Required Skills:

  1. Manage the annual strategy and prioritization of pipeline specific recruiting events and engagement campaigns

  2. Responsible for overall planning, development and vendor management to execute events and engagement campaigns

  3. Own the events budget, calendar, team communications and briefings, plus the post-event reporting and analysis for specific recruiting pipelines

  4. Manage relationships with key partners that ensure the success of recruiting events and engagement campaigns

  5. Drive cross-functional partnerships across multiple recruiting pipelines and hiring teams to ensure consistent event and branding processes

  6. Ability to take direction and input to develop effective event strategies that are engaging, innovative and will achieve the organizational and brand goals

  7. Work closely with business partners to consistently refine processes and assess opportunities for improvement – including the recruiting team, Facebook leadership, and cross-functional partners

  8. Point of contact for general operations and program inquiries from tech recruiters

  9. Ability to travel 30-35% is required

  10. Overall plan, develop and direct marketing efforts to increase the value and performance of a specific brand, service or product

  11. Work non-traditional hours to support various events, when needed

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 8+ years experience within event strategy and management

  2. Experience in analytical and data-driven approach to solving problems

  3. Experience in event management, event production, and post-event analysis

  4. Experience interacting with people of all levels, up to Directors/VP’s

  5. Time management, and experience multi-tasking across concurrent priority projects

  6. Communication experience

  7. Customer satisfaction focus, interpersonal experience and experience collaborating with interdepartmental teams

  8. Experience using Microsoft Office Programs, Adobe Photoshop, Keynote, Outlook, Event Registration Tools

  9. Management experience, overall planning and development, etc.
