We’re looking for a third-party risk specialist to help drive our Vendor Management strategy for the People organization. This role requires someone who is known for flexibility and creativity and is excited to lead in a flat organization that values collaboration and communication. You are a natural at building influence in cross-functional partnerships and developing great stakeholder relationships across the entire organization. You thrive in a flat, fast-moving organization where you can use lightweight processes, creative ideas and quick iteration to have a huge impact. You should also be excited about staying hands-on to drive risk mitigation strategy within our overall company vendor management approach.
Work with leaders and business owners to build on the vendor management foundation and implement risk-based management activities for prioritized third party relationships.
Build and enhance a holistic risk management foundation that includes data risk, business continuity planning, and financial risk analysis.
Focus on continuous improvement and on-going footprint management.
Ensure Vendor Management Team is mitigating, monitoring and managing vendor risks – including financial viability, business continuity and corporate and regulatory compliance.
Assess and report on the risk level of vendors based on financial, skills, tools and the use of third parties.
Help build out risk governance model for top tier vendors partnering with Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Outsourcing, and Legal.
Lead projects focused on driving down third party risk and strive to maintain consistent policy guidelines for vendors operating multiple engagements within the company.
Work in partnership with cross-functional teams, including information security, compliance, and business continuity.
Keep stakeholders informed and communicate program goals effectively.
2+ years project management, risk management, or vendor management experience
Organizational experience with experience handling more than one initiatives at one time
Project and process management experience, with the experience handling more than one vendor, projects and tasks
Communication and project management experience
Analytical approach to problem solving, with a focus on working within a team environment and focus on results
Influencing experience with issue mitigation mentality
Knowledge of procurement and risk management systems/processes/tools
