Summary:

Enterprise Engineering (EE) is looking for an experienced person to help build out and lead our Vendor Management strategy.

This role requires someone who is known for flexibility and creativity and is excited to lead in an organization that values collaboration and communication. You will be responsible for cross-functional partnerships and developing great stakeholder relationships across the entire organization. You will also be responsible for handling relationship management, strategic management, and governance across all EE vendors. You will be responsible for creating lightweight processes and creative ideas to have a huge impact. You should also be excited about staying hands-on with company vendor management strategy, evolving vendor management practices and domain expertise.

This position is full-time.

Required Skills:

  1. Relationship

  2. Concentrate efforts on managing and building relationships with key strategic vendors

  3. Manage regular senior level collaborative meetings between vendor and business

  4. Strategic

  5. Help develop and lead the vendor management strategy, ensuring that vendors are delivering value through their services

  6. Ensure the vendor management portfolio is balanced, with a mix and variety of diverse vendors

  7. Identify and execute value opportunities with strategic vendor relationships - analyze problem areas and help resolve issues and disputes

  8. Create and lead RFP process

  9. Lead projects around driving global discounts and consistent policy and guidelines for vendors operating multiple engagements within the company

  10. Governance

  11. Establish internal policies, standards, templates for working with vendors, classify/rationalize/optimize vendor portfolio

  12. Work with strategic sourcing to implement and measure metrics/KPIs to ensure performance management

  13. Manage the relationship with and performance of EE suppliers, including risk management

  14. Develop the reporting for vendor performance in areas that include (but are not limited to) quality, capacity, systems and responsiveness

  15. Develop vendor scorecards and dashboards that present data tailored to the audience

  16. Define and hold strategic vendors to performance standards and drive continuous improvements

  17. Collect/consolidate/communicate reports and vendor data to stakeholders on vendor performance, risk and relationships

  18. Work with the Information Security Team to ensure mitigating, monitoring and managing of vendor risks including financial viability, business continuity and corporate and regulatory compliance and to assess and report on the risk level of vendors based on financial, skills, tools and the use of third parties

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 8+ years of Strategic Vendor Relationship/Performance Management [CM1] experience

  2. Knowledge in strategic thinking and leadership with experience in relationship management

  3. Bachelor’s degree

  4. Experience with Oracle Financials

  5. Communication and project management experience

  6. Experience managing vendor relationships

  7. Project and process management experience, with knowledge in handling multiple vendors, projects and tasks

  8. Knowledge of procurement systems/processes/tools

  9. Knowledge in contractual, commercial and operational working relationships with vendors to ensure that contractual commitments are delivered

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Finance/FP&A background

  2. Problem solving, with a focus on managing a team environment

  3. Knowledge in service-based/SLA-based vendor delivery model
