Together, we can help people build stronger communities — we're just getting started. Facebook is seeking a Test Automation Engineer, Intern to join our Release to Production Engineering team. Our servers and datacenters are the foundation upon which our rapidly scaling infrastructure efficiently operates and upon which our innovative services are delivered.

Required Skills:

  1. Enhance and maintain existing test automation frameworks based on specifications

  2. Define, develop, implement and maintain test cases for various hardware products throughout the whole product lifecycle

  3. Work with partner teams to utilize existing test frameworks and explore new use cases

  4. Interface with internal and external teams to build necessary ports to connect with other tools

  5. Analyze data from large scale fleet across different dimensions

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

  2. Experience with objected oriented design, programming, and analysis

  3. Coding experience with Python, Ruby, C++, Java, and/or PHP

  4. Knowledge of Linux/Unix environments

  5. Communication skills

  6. Ability to obtain and maintain work authorization in the United States in 2019

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience in hacking, prototyping

  2. Related test automation experience
