Facebook is seeking an experienced sustainability professional to play a central role convening and deepening strategic ties with teams across Facebook that touch sustainability work. We are looking for candidates with a proven track record of collaborative problem solving and strong program management skills with a deep understanding of the sustainability topics relevant to Facebook. This role will involve working closely with a wide range of internal stakeholders. Successful candidates will have demonstrated strong program management experience, creative and critical thinking capabilities, and exemplary communication skills.
Align internal teams across Facebook on central sustainability strategies and goals
Work with internal stakeholders to identify, vet, and prioritize new sustainability opportunities
Create collateral to drive internal alignment
Assist the Sustainability team on other projects where program management support is needed
7+ years working in a sustainability related field
Organizational and project management experience
Experience working in corporate sustainability or with corporate sustainability teams
Experience in working independently
Experience in processing and analyzing information, and interpreting it to make business decisions and build systems
Experience in leading cross-functional projects
Experience motivating and adapting to different working styles based on teams involved
Demonstrated communication skills
Familiarity with specific sustainability issues relevant to Facebook
Advanced degree in Sustainability or a related field
