Required Skills:

  1. Write clean and bug free C++ code

  2. Develop, test and support features to help businesses use the WhatsApp platform

  3. Design core, backend software components

  4. Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system components

  5. Develop system monitoring and instrumentation tools

  6. Work closely with, and incorporate feedback from PMs, business partners and other engineers

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 2+ years experience building and scaling server applications

  2. 2 + years experience in C++, Java or Python programming

  3. BS in Computer Science or equivalent

  4. Knowledge of Unix internals

  5. Knowledge of TCP/IP network

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. B.S. in Computer Science or related field

  2. Experience with container, orchestration, or micro services
