Summary:

Facebook is seeking a high caliber Sales Operations Program Manager to join the Facebook’s Global Sales Operations team, supporting strategic planning and operational improvements within the company's Business Product Marketing team. The mission of the Global Sales Operations group is to maximize business performance by being the objective, trusted partner to the organization – through strategic planning, operational excellence and cross-functional collaboration. We also identify strategic initiatives to support revenue growth, as well as product development and activation. The ideal candidate will be passionate about Facebook, interested in advertising, intellectually curious, a fast learner, analytical, comfortable with ambiguity and working independently, able to focus on the details while thinking strategically, while remaining focused on high impact projects. This role will be responsible for establishing an operating rhythm and managing critical projects to support Messaging products, which includes Messenger and WhatsApp. This is a full-time position located in our Menlo Park office.

Required Skills:

  1. Operations and Analytics:

  2. Drive operational reviews and rhythm of the business, leading business analysis including revenue, customer and market analysis

  3. Help the team scale best practice

  4. Translate global initiatives to regional level and help drive alignment and develop projects at regional level that have potential to scale at a global level

  5. Lead analysis on business performance to drive operational changes

  6. Conduct insightful analysis using internal and external data (e.g. revenue, product, market, industry) to derive insights that will drive business insights and recommendations

  7. Familiarity with basic statistical analysis and modeling required to help assess marketing science effectiveness

  8. Improve operational excellence through identification and execution of initiatives that create efficiency, remove obstacles, or create improved processes and approaches to the business including identifying ways in which tools can be built and deployed to improve workflows

  9. Strategic projects and initiatives:

  10. Support sales teams on medium/long-term planning including business potential, resourcing and org design

  11. Identify, scope and drive critical projects and initiatives for Client Measurement org, partnering with cross-functional teams across the organization

  12. Business partnership with business leaders:

  13. Develop strong relationships with Marketing Science leadership team to act as a trusted advisor on business decisions

  14. Build cross-functional relationships and be able to establish resources to help solve complex interdisciplinary problems on behalf of the business

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. BA/BS in an analytical field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business or related field)

  2. 8+ years of work experience in Sales Finance, Sales Analytics, Sales Operations, and/or Strategy consulting, or 6+ years experience with MBA/Master’s degree

  3. Experience in problem solving and providing business insights and recommendations from data sets

  4. Proven stakeholder management experience – including managing multiple partners simultaneously

  5. Excel experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. MBA or graduate degree in an analytical field

  2. Experience with SQL

  3. Ability to work independently, manage multiple concurrent projects and drive initiatives in a cross-functional environment

  4. Experience extracting data from large/complex databases

  5. Experience in data visualizations and building scalable reporting tools

  6. Knowledge of Salesforce and Tableau
