Summary:

Facebook is looking for a Reporting Manager who can be a key contributor in a high-energy finance organization. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of combined experience at a global organization and public accounting. The individual must have the ability to be a strategic thinker while having the ability to get into the day to day details. We are also looking for someone detail-oriented, organized and thorough with a focus on continuous improvement. This is a full-time position and is located at our headquarters in Menlo Park, CA.

Required Skills:

  1. Assist in the Company’s external financial reporting process, including SEC reporting (Form 10-K, 10-Q), quarterly and annual census reporting, and other financial and governmental statutory reporting as required

  2. Prepare or review quarterly financial statements, including statement of cash flows

  3. Ensure compliance with all GAAP and disclosure requirements

  4. Lead various process improvement initiatives in order to eliminate redundancies and improve efficiency

  5. Assist with or review of the XBRL process

  6. Assist with the internal and external stakeholder review of the reporting deliverables

  7. Support the annual audit and quarterly review activities with external auditors

  8. Support testings by internal and external auditors on internal controls

  9. Partner with the accounting and finance department to create a high performance team capable of meeting the Company’s and the department’s objectives

  10. Ad-hoc projects and research as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. BA/BS degree

  2. CPA or equivalent qualification

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Communications experience, as well as organizational, time and project management experience

  2. Bachelor or higher degree in accounting or finance

  3. Experience in a public accounting firm, including audits of public company financial statements

  4. SEC reporting experience in a public company

  5. Demonstrated knowledge and ability in researching and documenting new accounting guidance and the accounting treatment of complex issues

  6. Proven self-starter and independent thinker who sets aggressive goals and meets them

  7. Experience in the technology or social media industry

  8. Experience with Microsoft Office suite

  9. Oracle experience

  10. Wdesk experience
