Facebook's People Growth team is seeking a Program Manager to design and guide our efforts to build an innovative manager experience. This role will require setting and holding the strategic vision for what is expected of managers at Facebook and what the optimal manager experience can be, driving cross-functional efforts to execute against this vision, and measuring manager effectiveness. The Program Manager will collaborate with a range of partners, including HR Business Partners, Learning & Development, People Analytics, People Engineering, and managers at Facebook to design and support an innovative manager experience.

Required Skills:

  1. Set and maintain direction for what's expected of managers at Facebook

  2. Drive consistency in how we evaluate manager performance across Facebook

  3. Partner with People Engineering to develop products to support manager experience

  4. Partner with HRBPs to consult about how to create a consistent manager experience, still leaving room for functional flexibility

  5. Consult with Learning & Development to consult manager on-boarding and development curriculum

  6. Consult with Recruiting on manager hiring

  7. Collaborate with People Analytics and Engagement to continually measure manager experience and effectiveness

  8. Conduct ongoing research (interviews, focus groups, etc.) to understand and evolve the manager experience

  9. Identify and recommend improvements to internal processes related to manager experience

  10. Support baseline research including quantitative and qualitative analysis

  11. Prepare correspondence and presentations, as needed, for status reports, executive updates, meetings, annual planning, etc.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 8+ years of work experience within HR, analytics, consulting or related field

  2. Talent management experience in one of the following areas: manager effectiveness, performance management, analytics

  3. Experience with: consulting/cross-functional collaboration, data analysis, change management, strategy, vision, communications

  4. Experience prioritizing needs with reason and solutions

  5. Experience suggesting improvements or ideas to processes

  6. Experience operating in a matrix

  7. BA/BS degree or equivalent HR work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Tech experience

  2. Balance of consulting and in-house experience

  3. HRBP experience
