Summary:

Facebook is seeking an experienced Program Manager who is passionate about the way Facebook can work with startups and developers to drive real-world outcomes. You will focus on building and scaling programs to help developers and startups in the region to build and grow their businesses. You will engage with some of the region's most exciting companies, VCs, Accelerators/Incubators, and developer ecosystem as well as with our world-class Facebook Platform product and engineering teams. In addition, you will work cross-functionally with the Policy, Legal, Marketing and Operations teams to help startups and our partners succeed. This role is based in Menlo Park.

Required Skills:

  1. Help drive and execute the North America strategy for Developer Circles and FbStart

  2. Maintain direct and active relationships with developers and startups on our platform, including on-boarding and contract work, proactively resolving business, technical, and policy issues and serving as an internal advocate

  3. Manage high-touch and low-touch engagement programs and events

  4. Set, track, analyze, communicate, and execute against key program performance metrics

  5. Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, business development, partnerships, policy, legal, marketing, and PR to launch programs and execute them

  6. Willingness and ability to travel 25-50% of the time

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. BA or BS Degree

  2. 5+ years experience in program management, partner management, or equivalent work experience

  3. Software development with experience building software developed in (at least one) Python, Node.js, PHP, C/C++, Ruby, C#, or Java

  4. 3+ years experience in engaging with the developer and/or startup community in North America

  5. Developer and/or startup event organizing experience

  6. Presentation experience

  7. Experience translating developer and startup needs into strategic plans and vice versa

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent degree/experience

  2. Proven track record of launching, leading and scaling programs in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment

  3. Exceptional collaboration and relationship-building skills — with the ability to develop strong working relationships at all levels of management, both inside and outside Facebook

  4. Displaying the highest personal integrity and ethics

  5. Fluency in English, any other languages
