Our team is seeking a creative and organized Program Associate Manager. The role supports the Education Modernization team and more specifically, the Engineer for the Week Program by efficiently and successfully binding together the key elements of the program. We are looking for an individual who sees education as a vehicle for change in the world and is driven by making a positive impact in the community. You will work in a dynamic, start-up like team that brings together engineers, educators and product leaders with a variety of backgrounds and has interest in innovating the education space.
This role is located at our headquarters in Menlo Park, California.
Partners with Program Manager to execute against milestones, help scale and innovate the program
Proactively identifies the important problems to solve (e.g. competitively, strategically, for his/her customers and in support of company goals)
Uses judgment and discretion to build a coherent strategy and roadmap for addressing these issues with measurable objectives
Facilitates the flow of information between stakeholders and create consensus around program vision, priorities and decisions
Drive, track and measure progress against roadmaps
Support operations related to day-to-day activities
Plan and execute program’s events and logistics
Partner with Communications and Design to contribute to the marketing, communication, and branding efforts
Coordinate financial side of the program which include purchasing, expenses, and budget tracking
External and internal partner coordination
Research and analysis of program data and education industry trends
3+ years of experience managing programs
Experience driving program or project related tasks and initiatives
Experience in organizing and managing events
Experience in program planning, development, recruiting and promotion, and budgeting
Experience in CSR, education or volunteering/non profits
Experience exercising independent judgment and discretion while utilizing company policies and practices to determine appropriate actions
Exceptional problem solving and communication skills
Ability to work independently and make informed decisions in day-to-day work
Experience staying organized with the ability to prioritize multiple functions and tasks while managing their work time efficiently
