Summary:

Facebook seeks an experienced Product Monetization and Marketing Leader who is passionate about advertising, technology, and innovation to join the Monetization Product Marketing team, focused on Facebook’s Pages’ platform of products. Pages is the entity for every brand, business, nonprofit and media organization on Facebook. With over 70 Million active business Pages, the Page platform is one of the largest business platforms in the world and this leader will be responsible for helping to shape the way millions of people, businesses and causes around the world communicate. The successful candidate must have experience leading product management or product marketing and ideally will have developed and managed product management or marketing programs in an Internet company. He or she must have experience managing teams, a track record of strong cross-functional leadership and exhibit excellent analytical and communication skills. This is a full-time position based in our Menlo Park, CA office.

Required Skills:

  1. Identify significant long-term opportunities based on research, analysis and a strategic view of the direction of the market

  2. Assess market requirements including opportunity size, competitive analysis, target customers and product requirements

  3. Represent voice of the market including qualitative and quantitative feedback on product from clients and partners

  4. Manage product alphas and betas to direct product refinements and identify critical client needs that must be met by the product in order to launch

  5. Define and manage comprehensive go-to-market strategy and plan including positioning, launch strategy, PR, sales and partner materials

  6. Manage the product launch process

  7. Coordinate and manage cross-functional teams (including PR, design, product, and engineering stakeholders, channel marketing and sales support materials and packages are created) to deliver products to the market

  8. Drive product adoption and usage by supporting market facing programs

  9. Collaborate with recruiting to hire, manage and develop a team of product marketers

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 10+ years professional experience in software or internet technology

  2. 4+ years management experience in product management or product marketing

  3. Product marketing experience in the internet sector and the ability to contribute at both strategic and operational levels

  4. BA/BS degree

  5. Manager that can work well in a cross-functional capacity within a dynamic, rapidly changing environment

  6. Analytical, data driven decision-maker

  7. Communicator with an ability to simplify complex concepts

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. MBA

  2. Knowledge of digital advertising, messaging communications and/or online presence products and an understanding of advertiser marketing strategies and tactics (especially for SMBs)

  3. Experience in analytic fields including consulting
