Facebook's AML PMs work with industry’s leading researchers, engineers, designers, and data scientists to build deeper and richer understanding of all content and people across Facebook's family of apps. And apply this understanding to solve the company’s hardest problems including showing more relevant content and ads on Facebook and Instagram, keeping people safe by reducing misinformation and hateful content, and powering Facebook’s latest VR/AR products. Be world class with running conclusive experiments quickly to validate hypotheses.

Required Skills:

  1. Build the vision, strategy, and roadmap of AI big-bets that Facebook should invest in to drive step change impact for our products.

  2. Shape the direction of Facebook's core products by applying cutting-edge AI innovations to tackle people problems such as reducing integrity issues, making content and ads more relevant, and improving search amongst many others.

  3. Build new AI technologies, services, and platforms for areas such as computer vision, NLP, speech/audio, and personalization that operate at Facebook scale and power all Facebook products.

  4. Accelerate time to impact on new technologies through experimentation, prototyping, and strong execution.

  5. Have a clear pulse on innovations across the broader AI community and help us identify new opportunities and look around corners.

  6. Identify and track key success metrics for all of your products.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Experience in applying ML technologies such as computer vision, NLP, speech/audio knowledge of products or building personalized experiences.

  2. Communication experience with experience conveying technical topics to the audience.

  3. Execution experience to drive multiple projects.

  4. A strategic thinker who can help craft plans to multiple stakeholders.

  5. A collaborator who can work across operating styles and can bring together multiple perspectives.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience developing social products, technologies, and platforms

  2. Experience building new AI/ML technologies

  3. BA/BS
