Facebook Product Cost Manager, Contract Manufacturing Operations in Menlo Park, California

Summary:

Come and develop, drive and execute a new product category with Oculus VR! Oculus is looking for individuals that want to be on the ground floor of a breakthrough technology and help build a world class supply chain. This person will have responsibility for managing product cost and providing insight to executive team. This individual will work closely with cross-functional team to collect, analyze and summarize cost information for financial planning and new product development. This person will also be responsible for establishing the methodology and tool to scale the cost management process.

Required Skills:

  1. Oversee the cost management activities to provide regular cost roll-up for existing products

  2. Analyze the BOM cost for multiple products to provide meaningful insight for the different stakeholders

  3. Collect the cost information and projection from sourcing team to develop a comprehensive cost database

  4. Conduct ad hoc cost analysis for future product ideas based on internal cost database and external resources

  5. Identify cost reduction opportunities and risks with data-driven approach

  6. Collect and review market intelligence and generate insights for the stakeholders

  7. Refine existing cost management process and tool to scale the business and meet the cross-functional requirements

  8. Enable new business process for future supply chain needs, such as rebate, consignment, etc.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business, or equivalent

  2. 5+ years work experience in Supply chain, Operations, Finance or related disciplines

  3. Experience with Excel, Power Point, PLM system and SQL

  4. Program management and cross-functional teamwork experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. MBA

  2. Experience with high volume, consumer electronics products

  3. Direct experience in cost analyst function
