Facebook Payroll Analyst in Menlo Park, California

Summary:

Facebook is seeking an experienced hands-on and customer-focused Payroll professional who is results-oriented, has a successful record of delivering high-quality and timely results, and ability to work in a fast-paced and multi-tasking environment. The successful candidate will have comprehensive knowledge and expertise with domestic, multi-state and global payroll, building and cultivating relationships with business partners, and have thorough understanding of payroll legislation and guidelines. Reporting into the Payroll Manager, this position is located at Facebook’s headquarters in Menlo Park, CA.

Required Skills:

  1. Support bi-weekly payroll processing utilizing ADP PayForce for 26,000+ employees

  2. Collaborate with Human Resources, Benefits, Legal, and Equity in the administration of payroll

  3. Interact with external vendors to ensure that data is processed accurately and timely

  4. Process inbound/outbound interfaces with third-party vendors

  5. Process complex payroll transactions such as business travels, inpat/expats, and relocation

  6. Calculate and process manual checks

  7. Audit employee compensation details

  8. Format payroll upload files

  9. Data entry of employee information

  10. Provide customer service to employees on payroll and benefit related inquiries

  11. Assist on various ad hoc projects, including communications and follow up with employees

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree

  2. 5+ years Payroll experience in a public company

  3. Experience with processing stock transactions

  4. Experience with processing garnishments

  5. Computer experience with MS Office, including Excel with the experience creating pivot tables, VLOOKUP and capable of handling volume of data

  6. Analytical and problem-solving experience

  7. Experience finding the root cause of the issues and improve processes

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience with ADP and Workday

  2. FPC/CPP

  3. Experience working with or in support of diverse communities
