As a member of the Facebook Payments Compliance Team, you will be a Payments Compliance Analyst - Know Your Customer (KYC). You will be a member of the KYC team working on Facebook Payments products like 'send money on messenger', charities, etc. You will interact with Team Leads to continually help drive process innovation and operational excellence in the KYC area. At times, you will work collaboratively with a dynamic group of cross-functional stakeholders including but not limited to Legal, Product, Engineering, Finance and Marketing. You may have side projects in addition to managing KYC operations, to help create innovative scalable KYC compliance systems and processes to harness the "transactional" power of Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Messenger and other Facebook companies. You will help Facebook Payments ensure that its compliance policies, internal controls and systems help Facebook in its mission to "make the world more open and connected."

Facebook Payments Inc. Required Skills:

  1. Promote a "culture of compliance" to ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and processes

  2. Lead projects to simplify relatively complex operational issues with cross-functional groups

  3. Ensure we are meeting our objectives and help the department achieve its key performance indicators (KPI’s)

  4. Support AML program requirements related to controlling risk to the company and to our "communities" including operating new internal controls and working with KYC systems and processes to mitigate these risks

  5. Assist the team manager in gathering information for reporting purposes and assist with special projects, along with completing specified tasks from end-to-end

  6. Collaborate with various Quality Control teams to assess feedback and improve KYC processes

  7. Oversee current IDV workflows and provide ongoing feedback

  8. Adapt to regulatory changes or emerging industry best practices

  9. Help provide various compliance trainings on policies and operations relating to AML/CTF/KYC program

  10. Articulate compliance requirements to a non-compliance audience

  11. Work closely and build trust with management, your team and other teams

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree or technical equivalent

  2. 4+ years of experience in payments compliance/risk operations

  3. Organization and process management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Familiarity of SQL and data querying skills

  2. Professional certification in compliance risk management (CAMS certification)

  3. High level of personal integrity, interest in payments as evidenced by related work experience, proven dedication to excellence, leadership qualities and a flexible, creative, innovative approach to problem solving

  4. Experience working in a fast-paced environment
