Summary:

The Community Development team contributes directly to Facebook’s mission by connecting creators with their audiences, helping them meet their objectives through solutions like Pages, Videos, Live and Ad Break. We succeed when we help our partners grow their business. The team is searching for an experienced and entrepreneurial Scaled Partnership Manager responsible for developing and managing processes and frameworks that help creators get the desired results from their content on Facebook – through consultation, education, optimization, and support via our vendor partners. In addition to developing a high-performing vendor operation, this position will be responsible for working with other teams across Facebook to create and grow processes focused on improving the Facebook experience for our creator partners.

This position is full-time and located in our Menlo Park office.

Required Skills:

  1. Build extremely strong relationships with key internal and vendor stakeholders and align expectations regularly

  2. Set goals/KPI's managed by vendor and monitor progress to meet/exceed against them

  3. Maintain WBR/MBR/QBR's for programs and vendors on goals/KPIs

  4. Data-driven approach to improve vendor performance and design processes. Both input and output metrics should be considered including productivity and incremental revenue

  5. Efficient root cause analysis - Understand in depth what's driving program performance, be able to dissect the drivers on different levels of the organization and prioritize focus areas effectively with vendors

  6. Be able to verify assumptions with vendors to ensure we are focusing on the right priorities

  7. Monitor vendors for sufficient staffing, performance improvements and liaise with cross-functional partners (trainers, quality assurance, vendor leadership) to conduct training & coaching to ensure proper knowledge of work strategies

  8. Develop roles and responsibilities within the vendor operations

  9. Document workflows and vendor execution guidelines where necessary, ensuring stakeholders have deep understanding and adhere to consistent and repeatable processes

  10. SOWs: Ultimately owned by global outsourcing at Facebook, but should understand and identify contractual, commercial and operational terms. Identify input identifying gaps & risks according to contract

  11. Develop consistent service models and programs for each tier in the scaled creator segment

  12. Define process and structures for partner acquisition, engagement and growth through vendor operations

  13. Iteratively test service models, treatment and impact by tier within the program

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Experience in operations, consultative sales or service

  2. 7+ years of experience in scalable operations

  3. BA/BS degree or higher

  4. Communication experience tailored to target audiences and interpersonal experience in order to build relationships based on collaboration

  5. Experience shifting priorities while maintaining organization and control

  6. Analytical experience, with experience solving problems using data and providing practical business insights

  7. Process designing and operational planning experience

  8. Project management experience and experience running strategic projects with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience in managing internal and external (third party vendor partners) stakeholders to drive results

  2. Action bias, ability to be a self-starter, overcome barriers and work collaboratively in a fast-paced, challenging environment

  3. Highly motivated and hard-working, and able to think clearly under pressure

  4. Ability to hold oneself accountable for work output

  5. Proven track record of driving process improvements & cost optimizations

  6. Sense of humor, team player, and willingness to do whatever it takes to help us be successful
