Facebook seeks a Partner Marketing Manager who is knowledgeable and passionate about digital commerce, marketplaces, automobiles, and helping businesses grow. This role will drive the strategy and execution to help Facebook acquire and activate businesses in key markets through partners. They will work closely with our partnerships team to develop the partner marketing strategy and execution for partner programs as well as for the marketing materials partnership's needs for their outreach. They will develop a deep understanding of our partner's needs, help define the marketing strategy to help address their needs, and execute on those plans.

The ideal candidate has experience both launching and growing products that help people discover products they love and businesses drive sales. They also bring deep understanding of industry competitive landscape, trends, and business models and have strong and informed perspective on how to build and scale products through partner marketing.

Required Skills:

  1. Lead market assessment, narrative and product positioning development and represent the partner audience internally with Product Management and Engineering

  2. Define and manage go-to-market strategy and plan with partners

  3. While this is a partner marketing role, you will also need to understand the multiple players in the ecosystem across consumers, policy makers, news media, governments and advocates to ensure the work is contextually relevant

  4. Identify significant long-term opportunities based on quantitative analysis, qualitative feedback, research and a strategic view of the direction of the market

  5. Communicate the value proposition of new products to all business facing go-to-market teams and ensure that effective partner support materials and packages are created

  6. Drive product adoption and usage rates by developing and support market facing programs and effective product launch support for partners

  7. Be willing and able to flex between strategic and tactical/execution responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. BA/BS degree

  2. 6+ years work experience in software, internet technology, digital marketplaces, product management, strategy consulting or startups

  3. Experience with digital marketplaces

  4. Experience contributing at both strategic and operational levels

  5. Analytical, data-driven decision making experience

  6. Experience as a communicator who simplifies concepts to the audience's needs

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Automotive industry experience

  2. General management or growth experience at a technology company

  3. Structured problem solving (Banking/Corp Dev/VC/PE/Market Research/Consulting/entrepreneur)

  4. Product related experience

  5. MBA
