Summary:

The ideal candidate will be a consensus driven leader with management and leadership experience in small to large size organizations, with comprehensive system and silicon development experience, and a proven track record of first-pass success in ASIC, FPGA and Systems.

Required Skills:

  1. Build and manage an end-to-end SoC/ASIC, firmware and driver development organization, including all aspects of front-end and back-end standard cell ASIC development (including silicon architecture, micro-architecture, RTL development, Verification, FPGA emulation, co-simulation, simulation acceleration, synthesis, DFT, floor planning, physical design place and route, DRC, LVS and GDS II stream out, and post-silicon validation)

  2. Partner with internal and external cross-functional teams, across all levels of a corporation, from executives, team managers and individual contributors including development engineers, capacity planners and supply chain experts

  3. Contribute to and drive development of and maintain overall silicon strategy aligned to corporation's Long Range Plan objectives

  4. Collaborate with IP development teams, and participate in, and support soft and hard IP identification, selection and IP licensing

  5. Identify candidates, hire, schedule, support and train a high performance team of silicon, software and systems engineers in order to develop products on time and on budget

  6. Contribute to, analyze, review SOWs, supporting documentation, requirements sets that meets the needs of a diverse set of internal customers

  7. Support engineering teams to define, debug, implement and deliver total solutions around purpose built ASICs

  8. Define, implement and maintain key performance indicators (KPI) for areas of responsibility

  9. Partner with technical program management and supply chain team members to manage external development partners, suppliers and vendors

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering

  2. At least 15 years managing SoC development teams at the Director or Manager level

  3. Track record of first pass success in ASIC and Systems Development

  4. Experience working across multiple projects and adjust priorities in partnership with key stakeholders

  5. Hands-on experience with Standard Cell ASIC development from Architecture through to GDSII release (including pre-silicon emulation and co-simulation) and post-silicon
