The Global People Operations team strives to create and deliver a seamless and positive employee experience across the entire employee life-cycle. Leading with care and empathy, we develop efficient and simple people processes, systems, policies, and programs. We deliver data that is useful and accurate to create People-related strategies across the business. We manage people knowledge and build project management capability across our company. The Learning Program Operations Specialist will be reporting to the Learning Operations Program Lead, part of Facebook's Global People Operations team, will work to operationalize Learning & Development company programs that will allow us to grow and scale Facebook. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented, get-things-done professional who can think strategically, adapt quickly, and rapidly earn credibility and trust with all levels of the organization. They will exhibit great communication & planning skills, teamwork, motivation, and an upbeat attitude. This person will be highly organized, productive, poised, and able to thrive in high-pressure, time-sensitive scenarios.

Required Skills:

  1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of our vendor teams executing our L&D program operations

  2. Partner with your primary client, the L&D team, as well as other key client partner and vendor teams to deliver on operational strategy and annual plans

  3. Drive global process optimization and standardization while balancing the business need for flexibility

  4. Establish standardized program reporting to deliver insights program managers

  5. Manage and consult on operational impacts of new programs or changes to existing programs

  6. Manage and escalate risks and issues and collaborate with cross-functional partners on resolution

  7. Make recommendations on program changes and conduct cost/benefit analysis of potential operational improvements

  8. Develop and ensure standard operating procedures are in place for programs supported by the team globally

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelors degree

  2. 3+ years of experience in either L&D or HR Operations

  3. Customer service, communication and cross group collaboration experience

  4. Analytical and data, reporting experience

  5. Project management and process improvement experience

  6. Time management and experience multi-tasking across concurrent projects

  7. Experience working in a team environment independently, with minimal supervision

  8. Experience working across various levels of the organization

  9. MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access) (Excel experience to create macros, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, analytical and work books)

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Data analysis acumen

  2. Project Management (PMP/PMI) certification

  3. Experience in L&D Program Operations

  4. Experience managing an outsourced vendor relationship

  5. Salesforce, Workday and LMS experience
