Facebook is seeking a talented Lead Counsel to join the Legal department's corporate team. You must have the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment and work proactively with various teams across the organization, including Corporate Development, Integration, Finance and Human Resources. This is a full-time position based in Menlo Park and will report to the Director and Associate General Counsel, Corporate.
Lead and execute domestic and international M&A transactions, including coordination of legal strategy, negotiation, due diligence and integration
Partner with corporate development, finance and integration teams and manage cross-functional legal experts to execute transactions
Support major M&A transactions and complex strategic initiatives
Lead other corporate transactions including investments and joint ventures
Coordinate and manage outside domestic and international corporate counsel
Support and manage internal corporate initiatives and policies
J.D. degree and membership in at least one U.S. state bar
5+ years of legal experience
Corporate and transactional experience with public and private companies, emphasis on M&A, investments, joint ventures, and other corporate transactions
Organizational experience and strategic thinking, and experience working with cross-functional teams
Cross-border and international experience
