Facebook is looking for an Internal Communications Associate Manager to join the Internal Communications Team.
In this role, you will help drive initiatives across Facebook to help inform and connect our people as well as help them build community. You will be a key member of Facebook’s internal communications team as well as a crucial partner for teams across Facebook.
The ideal candidate will excel at working collaboratively with executives and colleagues alike and consistently delivering high-quality work even under severe time constraints. Attention to detail, and strong organization are critical. You should be passionate about the services we provide and the people that we serve, as well as storytelling within our company.
This is a full-time position located at our headquarters in Menlo Park, California.
Support proactive communications efforts, programming and events around Facebook’s mission, major initiatives, and products
Drive proactive and reactive communications internally to support internal communications teams
Identify opportunities and execute plans for building company culture
Build partnerships with key internal stakeholders
Build partnerships with corporate communications teams to develop internal communications in advance of major company initiatives and announcements
Represent the communications group in cross-functional teams across the company
Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, and also work collaboratively on a team
Bachelors Degree in Communications, English, or related field
5+ years of work experience in internal communications, speechwriting or journalism
Experience working cross-functionally in different job functions (tech vs. non-tech)
Advanced Degree, MBA, or Law Degree
Experience in the internet technology industry
