Facebook is seeking an analyst to join our growing Internal Audit Technology team. The position will be responsible for conducting IT audits and performing readiness assessments over corporate and payments engineering systems/products. The ideal candidate will have experience working with financial/corporate systems, proprietary in-house built engineering systems, as well as strong technical and project management skills.

Required Skills:

  1. Readiness Reviews:

  2. Perform technology-related readiness reviews for changes related to proprietary in-house built engineering systems and financial/corporate systems (e.g., Oracle/Salesforce)

  3. Ensure controls are considered, implemented and tested as part of the system design phase prior to go-live

  4. Continuously strive to understand Facebook's changing business environment and actively translate this knowledge into audit execution

  5. Proactive engagement with cross-functional partners (e.g., Engineering, Information Security, IT, Finance) to assess newly proposed system design, controls and process changes

  6. Operational Audits:

  7. Contribute towards the execution of the Internal Audit plan and identify financial, operational and fraud risks for technology-related processes

  8. Perform operational audits of proprietary in-house built systems to evaluate controls and recommend opportunities for control establishment and/or improvement

  9. Earn credibility with different cross-functional partners (e.g., engineering, information security, IT, finance) by obtaining a deep understanding of their areas and providing pragmatic recommendations for improvements to controls and processes

  10. Work collaboratively on integrated audits with other internal audit team members by serving as subject matter expert on technical topics

  11. Effectively communicate internal audit results and controls testing results to all levels of management and external auditors, including remediation expectations and timing

  12. SOX Compliance:

  13. Be an active member of the SOX team, and support the PMO function in efficient execution of the SOX program

  14. Support the SOX compliance program related to proprietary in-house built engineering systems and financial/corporate systems and oversee execution of walkthroughs, design & testing of controls (including IT General Controls and business process controls)

  15. Collaborate effectively with co-sourcing partners and oversee timely completion of SOX control testing

  16. Identify, evaluate, and monitor the remediation of control deficiencies as required

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems Administration or related field

  2. 4+ years experience in internal audit

  3. Big 4 experience

  4. Demonstrated experience in auditing proprietary in-house built systems and corporate systems (e.g., Oracle, Salesforce)

  5. Experience in project management practices and managing SOX/audit projects through the lifecycle

  6. Working knowledge of audit participation in systems/product development, including experience ensuring control requirements are designed and tested prior to go-live

  7. Interpersonal experience, including relationship building and collaboration with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. CISA certification

  2. Understanding of advertisement, e-commerce, cloud computing, operating systems, web technologies

  3. Experience with SQL or other programming languages
