Facebook Integrated Marketing Manager Lead, The Factory in Menlo Park, California

We're looking for an experienced consumer media leader to join our in-house communications planning team. This role will be responsible for managing a team that drives media strategy and execution across Facebook's in-house creative team, The Factory. The Factory is a team of artists, designers, engineers, writers, filmmakers, producers, strategists responsible for helping over a billion people understand and engage with the Facebook brand. The right person can lead both media strategy and hands-on execution, effectively collaborate with cross-functional partners, and establish operational excellence to maximize impact across the team.

Required Skills:

  1. Manage a team of media managers running campaigns to drive Facebook's brand and product goals among the consumer audience

  2. Develop media strategies and plans to drive the full funnel (from awareness, consideration to adoption) of Facebook's brand and product offerings

  3. Demonstrate thought leadership in media strategy, innovation and measurement with an emphasis

  4. Help to intelligently scale the consumer media team, while establishing operational best practices around plan development, media investment management, systems and tools and streamlined measurement

  5. Steward your team's development and career growth

  6. Partner with other leaders to craft the future vision of the communications planning team

  7. Maximize relationships with cross-functional partners across product creative, product marketing, PR, partnerships, finance and analytics teams to develop impactful, integrated work

  8. Serve as a credible, expert voice internally to represent media strategy across paid, owned, shared & earned channels

  9. Leverage quantitative and qualitative insights from research and analysis to influence media and audience strategy, while also informing tactical planning, execution and optimization

  10. Develop and execute effective media strategies while simultaneously rolling-up your sleeves tactically

  11. Understand specific needs, media consumption nuances and sensitivities of consumers in both developed and emerging markets around the world

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 8+ years of experience developing and leading integrated communications strategies, media plans and campaign execution

  2. 3+ years of people management experience

  3. Knowledge of current trends and innovation in media, tracking, analytics and research

  4. Knowledge of consumer media trends

  5. Experience planning and executing cohesive consumer communications campaigns across paid, owned and earned channels

  6. Experience with planning and executing consumer media campaigns across multiple markets and audiences

  7. Knowledge of industry tools such as MRI, comScore, Nielsen

  8. Experience displaying thought-leadership and influence

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience managing communications planning within or in close proximity to a creative agency

  2. Experience managing a growing team and working effectively across all levels of management, teams, and disciplines

  3. Experience working on high visibility consumer and/or tech brands

  4. Knowledge of the Facebook advertising platform and expertise in crafting media solutions that drive positive outcomes

  5. Able to initiate and drive outcomes independently, while operating in a complex organization

  6. Paid media experience across social, digital and offline channels

  7. Operationally minded with a quality service orientation
