Summary:

Facebook is looking for an experienced Head of Studio Operations to join the Global Business Marketing Guild team - the team that designs and builds marketing campaigns, creates product launch assets and develops collateral for internal and external events. The Head of Studio Operations must have experience managing all facets of a creative production studio environment, including resource planning and usage, budget burn rates, process for delivering work, and maintaining the roster of vendors that do the work. They must thrive within cross-functional teams, excel at building and managing relationships with internal partners and stakeholders, and exhibit organizational, communication and financial management skills. This person must be a flexible cross-functional manager comfortable with a fast-paced, often ambiguous, start-up environment. This person will also work closely with creative leads in the fields of copy, design and video in order to make sure the Facebook Business story is told well and accurately.

This is a full-time position based at headquarters in Menlo Park, and will report to the Guild Global Operations Lead.

This role will partner closely with the rest of the Global Business Marketing Guild Leadership team to resource business needs and deliver world-class marketing materials. This is an outstanding opportunity for thought leadership in establishing, implementing and improving a critical and growing function.

Required Skills:

  1. Manage inbound and outbound projects to ensure successful delivery of various product launches

  2. Facilitate all facets of campaign delivery, from resourcing and creative development to production, approvals, launch and reporting

  3. Manage production budgets and approvals

  4. Build and optimize systems, tools and standards to improve how the marketing organization works together, with cross-functional partners, and external vendors and contractors

  5. Create business partnerships with leaders of all levels and departments within the Product Marketing organization

  6. Help prioritize projects with Global Business Marketing leadership based on impact, company objectives and resources

  7. Manage relationship and project management responsibilities for strategic sourcing and procurement

  8. Work directly with vendors to establish Statements of Work, manage Scope-to-Actuals conversations

  9. Maintain brand integrity across all project deliverables

  10. Manage tight deadlines across multiple teams and projects

  11. Act as a liaison between Guild internal team and a number of agency team members and embedded contingent workers

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 10+ years agency or client-side experience

  2. Experience in marketing agency or client-side environments managing a studio operations department

  3. Experience driving process, programs, and initiatives to address business needs

  4. Experience in managing creative resourcing process

  5. Knowledge in the production of events, campaigns, printed collateral, presentations, websites, videos, and other marketing materials

  6. Experience in managing budgets, contracts, vendors and agencies

  7. Experience fostering cross-functional working relationships

  8. Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and related project/program management applications
