As Head of Calibration, you are responsible for leading a geographically and technically diverse calibration team, responsible for ensuring we have outstanding calibration capabilities for all phases of engineering and productization. You look around corners and prepare your team for future challenges. You challenge the status quo and demand excellence in everything your organization does. With your leadership, calibration will be a competitive advantage for Oculus and Facebook. As a leader in Oculus and Facebook, you focus your team on achieving deliverables and having great impact.

Required Skills:

  1. Lead, coach, finish building a cross-functional, multi-site calibration organization

  2. Set clear expectations and create north-star aspirational goals

  3. Develop a positive work environment based on accountability and impact

  4. Tech leadership to evaluate, understand and implement cutting-edge calibration solutions

  5. Collaborate across engineering disciplines and geographies

  6. Recruit world-class talent and provide mentorship to team members

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 10+ years of engineering leadership experience

  2. Experience building high performing teams spanning multiple sites

  3. MS in EE, CS or related field with 10+ years of experience in engineering (or equivalent)

  4. 7+ years experience in engineering consumer products (product concept through mass production)

  5. Experience leading multi-disciplined (hardware and software) organizations

  6. Experience managing cross-team and cross-geography collaboration, and experience leading through influence

  7. Demonstrated domain knowledge in compute & systems development

  8. Proven track record in building technology & product development teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience leading and building calibration capabilities

  2. Experience with cameras and optical systems

  3. Experience with Android/Linux systems
