Summary:

Facebook is currently searching for a seasoned professional to work in Finance to be part of the Marketing and Events Sourcing team responsible for management of our key strategic vendors, agreement negotiations, professional services, and purchases. This person will work closely with multiple business groups driving strategic sourcing strategies and executing contracts that support the business to ensure the best options for Facebook are obtained.

Required Skills:

  1. Develop sourcing strategies, negotiate and manage a wide variety of contracts including, but not limited to: Marketing Services, Media- traditional/digital, SEM, SEO

  2. Identify, develop and deploy best practice supplier management, procurement and category management practices

  3. Develop strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders to strategically manage spend

  4. Analyze spend data, internal requirements, and external supply markets to develop strategic sourcing strategies and plans aligned with the business goals

  5. Manage complex sourcing projects and lead contract negotiations that optimize value to the company

  6. Establish procurement performance targets and ensure alignment with the sourcing plans

  7. Develop strong partnerships with Procurement Operations, Accounts Payable, and Legal teams

  8. Maintains accurate and complete contract records, working with various business groups to simplify process

  9. Seeks to leverage best in class agreements, processes, and negotiation techniques

  10. Lead adoption of e-Sourcing and other innovative tools when applicable

  11. Act as procurement subject matter expert in consulting with the business to identify, develop and deploy best practice procurement, category management and supplier management

  12. Coach and develop a team of Sourcing Managers to optimize the value of connections between Facebook businesses and the supply chain

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. BS degree in business, supply chain, procurement, finance or management

  2. 10+ years experience in business, supply chain, procurement, finance or management

  3. 5+ years of people management experience

  4. Experience implementing strategic sourcing and process improvement initiatives

  5. Experience in planning, sourcing, negotiating, contracting and supplier management

  6. Influencing and change management experience, including managing priorities

  7. Experience in fact-based negotiations or equivalent contract analysis experience

  8. Experience working cross-functionally with stakeholders across business units and regions

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Global experience in sourcing marketing services

  2. Experience working with or in support of diverse communities
