Facebook is looking to hire an Edge Security Manager to manage the physical security at our Global Colocation/Leased Data Centers and other Edge infrastructure. Selected individual will be responsible for managing the on-site operational physical security of our Data Centers and will have a thorough knowledge of access control systems and process, guard force management, reporting security metrics, security audits and incident reporting.
Responsible for managing on-site operations of our Data Centers.
Maintain compliance requirements with international standards such as (SOX, SOC2 and ISO27001).
Implement new processes and adherence to existing Facebook policy and procedure relating to security guarding, media security, video surveillance monitoring and the protection of customer data.
Coordinate physical security (security services, access control and video surveillance systems, site surveys), investigations, risk/threat assessments.
Manage employees and contractors performing specific security objectives and monitor vendor performance.
Builds strong cross-functional partnerships across geographic regions.
Ability to travel as needed with the data center team and Facebook by communicating team goals, wins and opportunities to maximize safe and secure work environment.
5+ years of security operations experience
3+ years experience in a leadership role
Experience in cross-functional relationships with non-security partners
Experience analyzing situations, making decisions and formulating action plans
Experience investigating site incidents and provide detailed reports
Experience working with security service providers
Knowledge of security software systems
Knowledge of video surveillance equipment
Knowledge of compliance standards such as ISO27001
Knowledge of Microsoft office tools
Experience in creating and managing key performance indicators metrics
Experience in working independently with little direction
Experience working in a high security environment
Demonstrated experience in the development of security procedures and processes
Able to perform security risk assessments
